Panchakarma therapy is currently available facility at Kolhapur math. Panchakarma is the purification therapy used in Ayurvedic medicine. This therapy has proved to be very effective for chronic, metabolic, stress related diseases. Any healthy person too can avail the facility of the same for the body purification purpose. Panchakarma means five actions and refers to five procedures intended to intensively cleanse and restore balance to the body, mind, and emotions.

Principle: It keeps healthy person away from diseases and cures diseased ones on permanent basis.

Benefits: Panchakarma has been used to treat diseases like allergies, asthma, arthritis, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, colitis, high cholesterol, depression, diabetes, digestive disorders, heart disease, hypertension, immune problems, infections, inflammation, insomnia, nervous disorders, obesity, skin problems, and ulcers. Panchakarma is safe and non-toxic, and can be used as prevention and to increase general well-being.



2.Siddhagiri Hospital and Research Centre.

Siddhagiri Hospital and Research Centre – an overview of the project:

Basic health services have become an area of grave concern. The facility of timely and adequate medical services is virtually absent. Even for the basic health services available, common has to bear an exorbitant cost, which is a matter of concern. This prompted Shree Siddhagiri Samsthaan Math (SSSM), Kaneri to set up a super speciality hospital at Kaneri, Kolhapur with the dedicated support of Siddhagiri Gurukul Trust (SGT), Mumbai.

The intension and desire of SGT is to start a 500 bed well equipped hospital;, spread over an area of 8acres possessed by healthy, clean, natural environment, which is ideal for treating body, mind and soul. Located near Kaneri Math, around 14 Km from Kolhapur.The site is easily approachable by the road from “Gokul Shirgaon Junction” on Mumbai-Bangalore highway. The project is to be completed in 3 phases; the first phase will provide 150beds, with an estimate cost of Rs. 10-12 crores.

H.H. Shree Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji‘s vision was to give affordable health care to the poor and needy people.H.H. Shree adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji has believed and made this as his mission. Siddhagiri Hospital and research centre is a sincere and dedicated effort in the direction of translating H.H. Shree Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji’s vision into reality.



3. Nirantar Annachatra (Free Food Serving).

This project includes the construction of a well development food serving centre having capacity of accommodating people more than 300 at a time. Any devotee or traveler visiting this holy centre should be served with free food is the only cause behind this project. The names of the donors donating amount of Rs.10000/- are displayed on the banner i.e. at the math’s entrance. Further abhishek of ‘Kadappa’ (Shivlinga) is carried out on behalf of that generous person at the Kadappa Madir.

Jaggery is a Natural Sweetener and contains Glucose, Minerals, Calcium, Vitamins, Iron, Phosphorous, Protein, Copper and many more.
Jaggery is a Traditional Accompaniment of Indian meals and is also used for preparation of various sweet dishes (Instead of Sugar).
Medicinal importance of Jaggery is tremendous. Due to high nutritional value of the product, Ayurved has suggested Jaggery as a
supplement to daily food. Medicinal uses of Jaggery are:
* Blood Purification.
* Acting as protective agent of lung against air pollution.
